THE COMICS
Ever Tomorrow is a steampunk fantasy created by JL Jones and Marlon de Rivera following the exploits of teenage Andrea Corsair. Miss Corsair lives in the country of Garland, currently at war with the distant nation of Denmore, and her father owns a small clock and music box shop in its capital, St. Emile. Andrea has a peculiarly strong sense of hearing which allows her to discern tiny sounds within clockwork and machinery, and thus has a rather unladylike affinity for all things mechanical. A natural, daydream-like curiosity, along with her understanding of clockwork, leads her to become involved with the war at a level she never expected, and lands her head first into the kind of adventure she always dreamed of… but is it everything she hoped for?
The comic features Ferret the angry blogger, Scooter his dim-witted buddy, and Maridee, his superficial gal pal as they navigate their way through pop culture and politics with plenty of sarcasm. Nothing is sacred! The strip updates every Monday, Wednesday and Friday via Facebook, e-mail, RSS, Twitter or the website. Check us out, we have a high opinion of our opinion!
Surly Queen Wendy draws two comics about Life…
Life On a Stick is an autobiographical comic about the wacky stuff that happens when my friends and I get together.
On the Couch is autobiographical too…except all the friends are imaginary creations from stories and comics yet to be written. PoJo, Taffy, Cricket, and all the rest were no longer content to sit in the back of my mind…So they moved into my apartment.
Sideways is a sequential documentation of the great human insanity. Sometimes a small tornado rips through a farm, and picks up all manner of unfortunate creatures. Rarer still is when it picks up two old farmers embroiled in a decades old family fued over a prize cow. As they swirl around in mortal danger they continue to bicker firing muskets at each other. Why? Because people are crazy. Everybody poops, but if they do it in a paper bag, and hit somebody with it then I’ll write a comic about it.
